Disrupt Records

Disrupt Records is a proposal project for an electronic music label that promotes new and whacky music, yet appeals to larger bands while promoting a modern image and a level of sophistication.

I took inspiration from the form of the equalizer, an essential tool of the industry, contrasting the even vertical lines with staggered type in order to form the logo. The same vertical lines are used in different applications as a tool for composition that mimic sound waves and different frequencies.
